Small Dog Toys
Any small to medium dog loves small tog toys, especially ones that they can share with you. There are literally thousands of different kinds of dog toys on the market and a good number of them are smaller sized. Small toys may not be safe for very large dogs because they may be a choking hazard, but there are some that are acceptable for dogs of any size.
If you love your dog, then you know that there is nothing else in the world like seeing your pup happy. They love to be given attention, tasty people food, and toys. There is nothing more in a dog's life than fun it seems, and that's the way it should be. Giving your pup one or two small dog toys can make him even happier, especially if you haven't given them anything new to play with recently. And besides, giving them a toy or two will keep them from destroying your oh-so-delicious shoes or defenseless furniture.
The most simple dog toy is a ball to play fetch with. Even if your dog just likes to chase the ball rather than go and bring it back, it can be a huge mood lifter for your pup. It's all about the thrill of the chase, and maybe the chance for them to enjoy gnawing on it.
Tug of war small dog toys are great if you want to have a really interactive play time with your dog. These are usually made of colorful rope so they are very durable even during the most intense tug of war battles. If your dog is none too enthused to play with a regular tug of war toy, one with a bone in the middle will get them enthused and ready to earn their delicious reward in no time.
Squeak toys are great for small or medium dogs as long as they aren't the types to chew on something until it comes apart. The squeak sound these emit make the dog curious about what's inside and want to get it out. These types of toys are usually not very durable, so if your dog has a powerful jaw and is very playful you may be cleaning up and bits and pieces of the remainder of the toy all over your house.
Keeping your dog happy isn't difficult. All they need is some love. While you show them affection by giving them food, a good amount of attention, and by petting them, small dog toys shows it even more. Dogs are naturally playful and giving them something to nurture that playfulness, whether you share it with them or not, can go a long way to form a stronger bond between the two of you.
